Vitamins

Vitamins are necessary to human life. Vitamins are essential nutrients required to assist in the maintenance and well-being of the body.

Vitamins come in two forms - water soluble and fat soluble. Water soluble vitamins are not generally stored inside the body (with a few minor exceptions), and you need to eat foods containing these vitamins each day to keep your levels high. On the other hand, fat soluble vitamins are stored in your body fat, as well as in your liver and kidneys.

There are several co-factors which work together with and help other Vitamins. These include the B Vitamin co-factors: Choline, Folic Acid, Inositol, PABA; and the Bioflavonoids, which work in combination with Vitamin C.

Vitamin supplements are sometimes required when your bodies' health is weakened, or when certain factors in your health or your life can make you deficient in specific vitamins.

NOTE: Mega doses of vitamins cannot cure illnesses and in fact can be very dangerous and produce toxic side effects and interfere with medicine you are taking. Always ensure you consult your doctor before taking any type of minerals supplement.
