There are many tests that are especially recommended for older Australians, to screen for certain health conditions that affect older people.

These screen tests ensure early diagnosis and ensure better outcomes for treatment options both in chronic conditions or malignancies.

The following tests are recommended for senior Australians:

Blood pressure measurements
Bone density scan
Colonoscopy
Faecal matter test
Hearing test
Heart monitor
Mammogram
Pap smear (women only)
