Drug and alcohol abuse is becoming a big problem for many children in primary and high school. There are many more school-age children who are taking more drugs than before and binge-drinking at an alarming rate.

There are so many health risks associated with these behaviours, especially for children, whose bodies have not yet developed completely and so are at risk of serious health problems (even death) if they continue with the drugs and/or alcohol.

This part of the site looks at every aspect of drugs, alcohol and other substance abuse and addiction in children.
